Robert W. Chesson, Esq. is the managing partner of the Landlord Law Firm. He has been representing the interests of property owners and managers in Connecticut for over 18 years. Robert has managed more than eighteen thousand summary process matters and countless other disputes between landlords and tenants, including low-income public housing and large commercial lease litigation alike. He has also worked on a wide range of fair housing related matters in private negotiations, public agencies, state courts and federal court.
Robert currently holds a Lifetime Director position on the Connecticut Apartment Association (“CTAA”) Board of Directors and serves as the CTAA’s Government Relations Committee Chair. He also sits on the CTAA’s Executive Board, Finance Committee and Tradeshow Committee. Robert is also an active member of the National Apartment Association, serving as a Connecticut Delegate to the NAA Capital Conference in Washington, D.C. each year. He is frequently featured as the guest presenters for seminars and training for property owners and management companies throughout Connecticut.
Robert graduated with honors from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He also graduated from The University of Connecticut School of Law with honors and began practicing law in Stamford.
Robert lives in Milford with his wife and three children.
